Today, the Turkmen private transport and logistics company Bir Kuwwat, in partnership with the Chinese Shanxi Investment Group International Logistics Co Ltd, transported a large batch of licorice root to China.

As representatives of Bir Kuwwat told Turkmenportal, a railway train sent from Turkmenistan via a multimodal corridor transported 42 containers of licorice root weighing 850 tons to the ancient city of Xi’an (China).

It was noted that these products were produced by the Agro-industrial complex “Buyan” named after S.A. Niyazov”, which is part of the association “Turkmendermansenagat” of the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan.

It should be added that the cargo has been on the road for less than 20 days, which became possible thanks to the use of multimodal transportation – road, sea and rail transport.

Containers loaded with licorice were shipped from Turkmenabat to the International Seaport of Turkmenbashi, where they went by sea to Aktau (Kazakhstan), and there they were delivered by rail through the Khorgos border station (PRC) to the station of the city of Xiyan.

Founded in March 2020, Bir Kuwwat provides a wide range of services for the organization of cargo transportation within Turkmenistan and to the CIS countries, the EU, China and Southeast Asia.
